Choosing your Top 5 Bourbons of the year is extremely tough. There are so many choices and being a bit of novice to the bourbon world it was even harder to choose my top list of the year. There is a lot that went into choosing my top 20. Flavor, consistency, how often did I reach for the bottle. I did several blind tastings, putting the bottles below against each other plus many many other bottles, drinking the bottles in different orders with lower proofs and higher proofs. I wanted a good solid reflection of 2020 and what I thoroughly enjoyed the most. So I hope you enjoy the list below and please feel free to share your thoughts and takes on my list.
