Bourbon Barrell is a great brand, I absolutely love what they are doing with the blending and varieties they offer. It really offers a way to explore something very unique. Many of their offerings are finished whiskeys, see my post about finished whiskeys for more of a dive into that process. Essentially they were distilled just like any other whiskey and the put in another barrel to finish the process. Many of the Barrell whiskeys were finished in rum, cognac or various wine casks. It just adds another layer to the flavor and enhances an already great product. So I did a full Barrell blind tasting below. It is a mix of finished barrel options as well as some non-finished options. This brand is really one to watch, I cant wait to see what else they have in the works in 2021! Cheers
